Continuing in the tradition of an annual pediatric pathology conference held in the Aspen area from 1970 to 2003, with a Chicago location and slide-based format in 2007, the 2008 lecture-based course is designed for pathologists interested in advancing their knowledge in various diseases encountered in the practice of pediatric pathology. The course will also include an unknown glass slide set containing 25 cases with discussion of the cases by the faculty presenter. In addition, an academic poster session consisting of current topics in pediatric pathology will be presented.
· The course will run from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm Sunday through Tuesday, and from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm on Wednesday.
· Registration includes a 25 case glass slide set. Several microscopes will be available on site for slide review.
Abstract Submission
All participants are invited to submit abstracts by email, fax or mail to Dr. Thompson up to May 1st, 2008. Please use the standard format as used by United States Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP.org). Presenters will be notified within one week of receipt of abstract. Posters will be on display throughout the course.

The Hawaii Consortium for Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Credit Designation Statement

Luau Buffet Dinner and Show: A traditional Hawaiian luau is planned for the evening of Sunday, June 15, presented by Old Lahaina Luau, renowned for their award winning presentation of traditional Hawaiian music and hula and for their bountiful buffet of regional cuisine. Guests will appreciate a genuine reflection of Hawaii’s rich history while enjoying an ocean view and sunset. Admission fee includes dinner, entertainment, and a premium open bar throughout the evening. Adults $100 each, children under 12 years $70 each (includes transportation). Gratuity not included. Setting: The Sheraton Maui Resort is located on the beachfront in Ka’anapali, Maui. Ka’anapali and the neighboring historic town of Lahaina offer white sandy beaches with breathtaking sunsets, all manner of water sports and deep sea fishing, whale watching, fabulous shopping, and world class dining. Maui is the home of Haleakala volcano from whose summit visitors and locals alike gather to view the spectacular sunrise. Maui is also home to the famous Hana Highway, one of the loveliest drives anywhere.
